Most product names are decoration. This one is a commitment written down where it is awkward to walk back. "Kept entirely domestic" is not a mood — it is the thing the software has to keep being true, on every release, or the name stops fitting.
That is also why the expansion appears in the application itself, under the wordmark and at the top of the About panel, rather than living in a brand guideline nobody reads. If a future version quietly started sending documents somewhere, the name on its own front page would be the first thing to contradict it.
