Where this software came from.
CIA N.I.C.K.E.D. Office is not written from scratch. It is a fork of an existing open-source office suite, rebuilt so that its AI runs on your own machine instead of a vendor's servers. The licence that made that possible asks us to say so clearly, and to record what we changed.

What we changed
The full list of modifications ships inside the application, in the
NOTICE file, as the Apache Licence requires. In summary: the cloud AI
provider was replaced with a local Ollama connection, the vendor's account system and search
client were deleted, the interface was rebranded, and the product identity — name, icon,
bundle identifier — was changed so that this installs alongside the original rather than over
it.
Third-party components
A full list of bundled third-party components and their licences ships inside the application
as THIRD-PARTY-NOTICES.txt — in
Contents/Resources on macOS, and resources/
on Windows and Linux. It includes character data derived from the Unicode Character Database
17.0.0, used under the Unicode License v3.
Trade marks
CIA N.I.C.K.E.D. Office™ and Consultancy in Action™ are trade marks of Consultancy in Action Ltd; a UK application is pending. Other names are the property of their owners and are used here only to describe file formats this software can open. No affiliation or endorsement is claimed.
